The South Xinjiang Natural Gas Beneficial Project is a continuation and expansion of "Gasification of South Xinjiang", an important initiative of PetroChina to implement the spirit of the Central Xinjiang Work Conference and the requirements of the Central Government on promoting the leapfrog development of Xinjiang and long-term peace and stability, as well as a people's livelihood project to improve the living standards of the local people and protect the ecological environment.
